Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Cyber Phoenix Ltd ("we", "us") handles information in the Butt Lift mobile app and on buttlift.app. We have written it in plain English rather than legalese.

1. Camera and rep detection

Butt Lift uses your device camera to count and score exercise repetitions. This is the core function of the app, and it works as follows:

• The camera feed is analyzed entirely on your device using on-device machine learning.
• The app derives body position points (for example, the angle of your hip or knee) from each frame.
• No photograph or video is recorded, saved, transmitted or uploaded at any point. Frames are discarded immediately after being analyzed.
• Only the resulting numbers, such as rep counts and form scores, are saved, and they are saved locally on your device.

You are asked for camera permission before any of this happens, and you can withdraw it at any time in your device settings. Butt Lift also offers workouts that do not require the camera.

2. Information stored on your device

The following is stored locally on your phone and is not transmitted to us:

• Your onboarding answers (goal, focus areas, experience level, session length, equipment, any injuries you tell us about)
• Optional profile details such as your first name, height, weight and hip measurement, if you choose to enter them
• Workout history, rep counts, form scores, streaks and personal bests
• App settings such as reminder times and coach tone

Deleting the app removes this data from your device.

3. Health-related information

Some information you may enter, such as weight or injuries, is health-related. We treat it accordingly: it is stored only on your device, it is never sold, and it is never used for advertising. We do not read it, because it never reaches us.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google, not by us. We never see or store your payment details. To manage subscription entitlements we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and your subscription status. It does not receive your name, email or workout data.

5. Notifications

If you enable reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. We do not operate a push server and cannot send you messages remotely.

6. This website

buttlift.app is a static site. It sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. If we later add basic, privacy-respecting analytics, this policy will be updated first.

7. Children

Butt Lift is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Your rights

Because your data lives on your device rather than our servers, you have direct control: you can view it in the app, reset it from Settings, or remove it entirely by deleting the app. If you are in the UK, EU or another region with data protection rights and want to exercise them regarding anything we do hold, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app.
